Sarah Callens

Chief Technology Officer

Sarah is an experienced leader with over 20 years in the field of regenerative medicine and cell therapy, spanning roles across the UK, USA, Denmark, and Sweden. Her work has focused on bridging innovation and manufacturability in advanced therapies, with a particular emphasis on scalable process development and GMP translation. Before joining the Cellerator, Sarah served as Chief Technology Officer at CCRM Nordic, where she led, process and analytical development, incorporated CMC strategy and supported GMP facility design. She has also held senior roles at Novo Nordisk, the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, as well as working with early-stage biotech companies. She holds a BSc in Biology and has contributed to numerous industry collaborations advancing next-generation manufacturing platforms.
