Heike Lentfer

Head of GMP Manufacturing

Heike has held various leadership positions in the biopharmaceutical industry and in the non-commercial sector, bringing experience in operational management, process development and process validation. Her career, spanning 25+ years, included positions in biotech start-up companies and GMP contract manufacturing organisations. She led the commissioning and operation of Cancer Research UK’s manufacturing facility, dedicated to bringing novel therapies into early phase clinical trials. In more recent years she gained experience in process validation and preparing for FDA BLA submissions. Heike holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Biotechnology from the TU Berlin. In her spare time, she is likely to be outdoors with her dog, exploring the countryside, discovering interesting wildlife and plants.
